Summary
Thai Nguyen received his B.S. in Human Biology and B.A. in Cognitive Neuroscience in 2013. He Joined the Juan Carlos Belmonte lab at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies under the guidance of Dr. Leo Kurian in 2012, where he worked on understanding the roles of long non-coding RNA and microRNA in development using human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) as model systems . Thai joined the Yeo lab as a staff research associate in the Fall of 2013. When not in lab, Thai enjoys long walks on the beach and watching the sunsets.
