Summary

Alex Sun is a third-year undergraduate student at UCSD pursuing a degree in Bioengineering: Biotechnology. Previously, Alex did research on liver cancer and other metabolomic data with the Singapore Phenome Center; He also participated and placed in the top teams in coding events such as the SD Hacks hackathon. Alex is particularly interested in understanding the factors that influence RNA expression in the context of the cell environment. In his free time, Alex paddles with the UCSD dragonboat team, goes to concerts with friends, and practices cooking new dishes.
