Summary
Joshua Ahdout is a recent graduate of UC San Diego, where he received a B.S. in Human Biology and minored in Business. He joined the Yeo Lab in 2018 after being intrigued by the potential use of CRISPR-cas technology to treat genetic diseases through targeting RNA. Throughout his time in the Yeo Lab, Joshua has worked under the guidance of Kris Brannan in categorizing RNA-RBP interactions, a vital first step in identifying potential targets for therapeutics. In his free time, he enjoys exploring San Diego with friends, skateboarding, and playing tennis. He is currently pursuing a career in medicine, with plans to apply to medical school in 2022.
