Summary

Nicholas is an incoming sophomore at Santa Clara University pursuing a major in Biochemistry and a minor in Biotechnology. Recently, Nicholas was accepted to the University Innovations Fellows (UIF) Program at Stanford University’s Design School and the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Santa Clara University. He is also on the leadership board as Director of Public Relations for the Santa Clara Venture Capital Club and was a cohort participant in Santa Clara University’s Venture Accelerator Idea School. As of April 2021, Nicholas is a recipient of the La Jolla Rotary Scholarship and Barbara Monroe Scholarship from the San Diego Foundation. Under the guidance of Dr. Phuong Le, Nicholas is currently learning about RNA localization in the context of neurodegenerative diseases. Upon graduation, he hopes to go to medical school and specialize in orthopedics. Outside of school, Nicholas enjoys biking, playing basketball with friends, and swimming.
