Summary

Tristan is originally from Kansas City, Missouri and has lived in San Diego for 2 years. He is currently taking courses at the San Diego City College until eligible for transfer to UCSD, to then finish with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Cell Biology shortly after. With high hopes, he would like to continue to pursue research towards a Ph.D. More than anything, he enjoys the pursuit of learning and understanding. Currently, he holds a position as Lab Assistant in the Yeo Lab and is also researching the effects of oxidative damage to RNA within the context of neurodegenerative disease. In his free time, he likes to read, bake, and spend time with his family.
